When you sign in, we collect your email address and display name (from Google or your sign-up form). If you build a profile, we store your username, bio, social links, location, and portfolio images.
Your profile information is displayed publicly on your moodpool profile page. Portfolio images are analyzed by AI (Anthropic Claude) to extract mood, color, and style data — this powers the matching and discovery features. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Uploaded images and AI-generated images are stored on Cloudflare R2 (cloud storage). Portfolio images you upload remain under your control — you can delete them from your settings at any time.
Images and text you provide may be processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic for analysis, OpenAI for image generation) to power moodpool's features. These services process your data according to their own privacy policies. We send only the minimum data needed for each feature.
We use Supabase for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email and profile name from Google's OAuth service. We do not store your Google password. Session data is stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies.
We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. You can request account deletion by contacting us. When deleted, your profile, portfolio images, and associated data are permanently removed.
You can access, update, or delete your data through the settings page. For any privacy concerns, contact us at hello@moodpool.app
We may update this policy. We'll note the date of changes at the top of this page.
